Sophia Joy {Five Months}

Despite this month’s photoshoot happening indoors because of the cold, it turned out SO CUTE AND BEAUTIFUL, AHHH. Sophia is such a photogenic little girl. All my photographer mom dreams are coming true, hehe.

I love looking back on these photoshoots and seeing just how fast our baby is growing up. Hopefully you enjoy them too! Read on for a bunch of day-brightening pictures of our sweet chub friend.

Farewell 2024 {My Year in Review}

2025 was for sure one of the most memorable, joyful, difficult, important years of my life. 🙂 This was a year of extremes for me – incredible amounts of excitement and love and happiness, as well as lots of pain, frustration, and difficulty. The things I lived through this year will impact my life forever and were something God used to grow me for sure.

As always, I wanted the last post of 2024 to be a yearly wrap-up post. I’ll do this one in last year’s style with a mini summary of each month along with my favorite post. Enjoy!

Sophia Joy {3 Months}

As an early Thanksgiving gift, you get another Sophia post! 😀 We’ve been super busy recently between me getting strep throat, preparing for our first trip with a baby (a vacation with Sully’s family this week), and lots of Etsy orders + window washing jobs for peak season. I really wanted to get some pictures of Sophia before we left for the trip though, and managed to squeeze them in yesterday.

Guys these photoshoots keep getting cuter and cuter! Enjoy this absolutely delightful baby. 🙂

Thoughts on… {a Living Sacrifice}

I meant to make this post way earlier, but it’s been a rough few weeks. My mysterious fever kept coming back, baffling my midwife and the ER doctor alike. The latter prescribed antibiotics for a possible UTI and so far, it seems to be working! Praise God. We had a couple other appointments and concerns and lots of fussy-baby-sleep-deprived nights, but I think we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So today I wanted to share some thoughts I wrote down a while ago. Hopefully they will encourage you as well as myself. This post speaks especially to motherhood, unsurprisingly, but the concept of “living sacrifice” applies to any season. Enjoy some thoughtful words and cute pictures of baby Sophia!
