Hand Lettering & Typography {New Online Course Release!}

Hello friends!

I am THRILLED to finally launch a project I’ve been working on for many months: an online art course just for you guys, accessible right from my blog. You might remember the blogging tips mini course I released last year, which you can access here. Since then I’ve been creating video lessons for a full course: over 1.5 hrs. of lessons about hand lettering & typography.

Today I’m going to explain a bit about the course, show you a sneak peek of what’s inside, and give the details on how you can join. Let’s jump right in!

Practical Ways to Prepare Yourself for Marriage

Hello friends!

Sully and I are coming up on our 6 month wedding anniversary, ah! It seems like a momentous milestone. Obviously it’s also a very small one and I’m still quite new at this whole wife thing. However, you guys seem interested in this side of my life and I wanted to make a post where I could share some things that have helped me in my marriage without pretending like I’m an expert now or something. I landed on this topic since I’ve at least been married long enough to start seeing how aspects of my life before marriage affected my life today.

All that to say… today I wanted to share a few things I’ve been pondering on the subject of living in preparation for marriage. This post is mostly written for young women who are currently unmarried or living at home, but it also applies to young men in a similar fashion. And if you’ve been married longer than I have and can actually speak from experience, I’d love to hear your advice in the comments! 🙂 Either way, I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts.

Hunting for Fall Foliage

Hello friends!

The autumn leaves this year are more stunningly colorful than I ever remember seeing them. I so wish I could completely capture the beauty in photos for you, but the best I can do is share the few pictures I have from several weeks ago at my family’s farm. I hope these colors brighten your day and inspire you to find loveliness wherever you live too. 🙂

A Tour of Our Small Town

Hello friends!

Sully and I live right outside the most photogenic little town – close enough to walk there for dates but far enough to be off of Main Street. We took a stroll to our favorite gelato shop the other evening and I finally brought my camera along for a photoshoot.

I haven’t done much architecture photography, growing up on a farm as I have, but I’d like to do more. Sully patiently waited as I made many short, excited detours to snap a shot of an interesting subject or location. I love how the pictures turned out! Enjoy this peaceful fall tour of our small town.

Autumn Playlist {Fall 2022}

Hello friends!

Remember the seasonal playlist + aesthetics posts I used to make in the old days? Well, I was inspired to make another one this year just for autumn. Autumn colors are just barely peeking out around here so I had to scavenge my yard closely for these pictures. 😛 But the weather is cool and crisp and fall is definitely in the air.

Enjoy this selection of songs and pretty autumn photography!

Late Summer Flower Garden Photoshoot

Hello friends!

My mom’s flower garden is stunning and lush right now. I finally brought my camera to take pictures of it the other day… and then realized it was out of battery. 😦 I so wanted to take photos that I went ahead and used my phone instead. It was a fun challenge with surprisingly pretty results!

Enjoy one last luxurious abundance of colorful blooms before fall sets in. ❤
