Just Some Pretty Flower Pictures :)

Hello, my friends!

Mom got so excited for our garden this year that she bought at least 75 different kinds of seeds. O.o That includes a LOT of flowers. So since it’s almost summer and I love floral photography and we have plenty of beauty to share, I thought I’d take some pretty flower pictures for you guys!

I hope this simple post adds some color to your day. Enjoy! ❀

Green & Glowing Things {a Springy Photoshoot}

Hello, my friends!

Spring is out in full force here and I am LOVING it. One of my favorite things about this season is how the sunlight soaks everything so deeply that it almost makes the colors glow with a light of their own. I had so much fun bringing that out in these photos from when I took a walk in the woods and found so many lovely tiny flowers and baby leaves to show you guys.

So here’s a little dose of beauty for your day (and your desktop, if you so desire). πŸ™‚ Enjoy!

Chains, Goats, & Flower Gardens {Golden Hour Photoshoot}

Hello, dears!

How’s that for a random title? I was looking for something like, “A Post Where I Wander Around the Yard and Take Photos of Lots of Random Things at Golden Hour,” but that would be a tad long. It would have been helpfully explanatory, however, since that’s what this post is about. πŸ˜‰

Walking around and taking pictures is honestly one of my favorite things. It’s so refreshing, plus I get to be creative at the same time. ❀ So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy taking this evening walk with me! πŸ™‚

Sunflower at Golden Hour {Sisters Photoshoot}

Hello, dears!

I’m back with the promised golden hour photoshoot today! My sister Megan received a beautiful sunflower shirt for review from this shop, so of course we had to get a bunch of pictures for her post. (Also I literally just realized I copied her title after I finished writing the post. :’D ) We had fun finding different photo locations and attemptingΒ to think of different poses, heh heh. I hope you enjoy these golden photos!

After the Rain: Garden Photography

Hello, dears!

These kinds of posts are some of my favorite to make, as you might know if you’ve been around here a while. πŸ˜‰ Today I have a bunch of pretty nature photography for you, including butterflies, flowers, and raindrops found in our garden.

I took these photos the day after a glorious, answer-to-prayer rain finally came to end a summer drought. When you’re a farmer whose main key to success (the right weather) is totally out of your control, it teaches you dependence on God like nothing else, and also makes you so excited about rain that you’re riveted to the window, the weather app, and the rain gauge like they’re the most suspenseful movie ever. πŸ˜›

Everything was so beautiful and fresh the next day that I kinda just dropped everything and took a bunch of pictures. XD I hope you enjoy the results!

A Walk in the Wildflowers

Hello, dears!

My sister Megan and I planted a TON of flowers this year. We were skeptical at first about whether they’d work since we hadn’t tried wildflowers here before… but wow, did they grow! We now have two little wildflower patches overflowing with blooms, plus a longer stretch of flowers near the end of our family’s garden. And, knowing me, you’ll not be surprised to hear that I have taken tons of pictures. πŸ˜‰

I’ve narrowed down some of my favorite pictures to show you guys today, including a goodly selection of macro photography. I hope you enjoy these bright and colorful beauties at the golden hour!
