Gone Fishing

On Friday we went fishing at our uncle’s pond with some friends and family. Here are a few pictures of his pond:

I love fishing! I caught two fish (a bass and a perch), but the bass was too small so we had to put him back and let him grow. 😦 But my brother got a nice big bass, and my grandaddy got a humongous catfish! It was so exciting! It took a long time to reel him in, but we finally did (with the help of a metal rake since we didn’t have a net XD ). And guess what? He was almost two feet long!! Seriously, he was about 22 or 23 inches! Catfish may get a lot bigger than that, I don’t know, but it was sure huge to us. We normally just catch little 6-8 inch perch.

And now you’re waiting for the fish pictures, right? *Sniff* I didn’t take any pictures of the fish. WHAT?! I know, I know, I’m with you there. But it we were so excited when we got the catfish, and by the time we thought of taking a picture, he was already cut up and cleaned. Megan got a picture of the fish head just for proof, but it wasn’t too pretty… so… okay, let’s move on, shall we? XD XD

I DID get some pictures of the pond at sunset, however.

P. S. I have so many photos I want to post, but it seems that’s like all I’ve been posting about lately. That’s okay with me because I love photography… but I don’t want to post photos so much that you start yawning from boredom. 😉 I’m working on a survey so you can tell me which your favorite kind of post is.   1. Gorgeous pictures. I never get tired of seeing your photography- it blows me away! I tried saying ‘my bobber photobombing’ but it went more like this:
    “My bobber photobomming.”
    “My bodder photobombing.”
    “My bobber photo-” XD
    LOL!Awwww!!! Lambs! ❤️❤️❤️The sunset is so beautiful!

  3. EEEEEE! I CAN’T BELIEVE THERE AREN’T ANY COMMENTS YET!!!!! (Other than mine 😉 ) That’s CRAZY!!! WHAT!?!?! You can KAYAK on your POND!?!? AAA! I’ve NEVER been kayaking, but I’ve always wanted to!!! (Is that a Border Collie in the background..? It looks like one) I’ve only gone canoeing with other people, in a creek, never by myself. WOW! That’s a HUGE fish!! I thought you were just kidding when you said you didn’t get any pictures…were you?????? That’s what you did in another post, and you got me then…I’m not letting THAT happen again! XD Just kidding! 😛 😛 🙂 XD Hehe! XD Hehe! 🙂 🙂 Those are also BEAUTIFUL pictures of the sunset, and water! 🙂 WOW!!!!
    AWW! And those LAMBS!!!!! They’re so cute…but not as cute as OUR babies!!! *Puts up nose* XD XD Just kidding! 😛 🙂 But ours ARE pretty cute! 🙂 Bye for now!!! 🙂 I would personally LOVE to see more pics! 😉 Plus you could always put them in a slideshow for other people that way they could look at them if they wanted to…or wouldn’t have to!! 🙂 😉 😛

    1. Wow, thanks for the long comment, K. A.! 😀 But actually, there were comments before yours, I just hadn’t approved them. *Sniff* XD XD XD Well, it’s actually our uncle’s pond, but yeah! He lets us use his kayaks and canoe! It’s really fun. 🙂 Yep! Our uncle has a few border collies. Thanks, K. A.! Nope, sadly, I was serious about not getting any pictures of the fish. 😦 But maybe Megan will post her picture of the fish head on her blog – if anyone wants her too and isn’t grossed out! 😛 XD Thanks! Yeah, I’ve thought about doing slideshows, and I might do one, but I think slideshows don’t work on some computers. 🙂 Thanks again for commenting!

  7. HAHAHA. I’m a farm girl too and I’ve never fished! We even have a small river stream running through our property! Yet, I’ve never seen any fish in it. Those sunset pictures are stunning! Do not you worry, I for one love your photography! 🙂
