Beautiful Things {Part 3}

Are you ready for a ton of spring-y pictures? Good gracious, the trees all look very different now, even though I didn’t take these pictures that long ago. Our one maple tree has pretty much full-blown leaves now. Spring moves rather quickly, doesn’t it?

The curly willow tree beside our rabbit hutch is pretty in spring… actually it’s usually pretty. 😀

This old tree isn’t exactly the springiest, but it’s still neat. 🙂 I love the bumps and fine texture of the wood.

This is the view from one of my bedroom windows. 🙂 The triticale field is so much taller now.

Oh my goodness, how beauteous are these apple blossoms? ♥ AND LOOK AT THAT BOKEH! XD

You don’t usually think of maple trees as flowering trees, but I guess they kind of are – only the flowers are green instead of pink or yellow or something.

There! I’m catching up with my photos, except I just took about 100 pictures yesterday… Oops. XD I’ll probably post those next! (Don’t worry, not all 100 of them. XD )
Are your trees getting leafy too? Or have the leaves never left to begin with?
Have a lovely day!

  1. Our trees hardly have time to lose their leaves before it’s warm again – we have such short winters. XD These are some absolutely lovely photos, Allison! I keep forgetting to comment on your posts… *facepalm*

      1. Yeah, I bet it does! Our weather is so weird – it was almost 90 the other day and now it’s 70 and rainy. XD
        You’re welcome! Hehe, so am I!

  2. A lovely uplifting post 🙂 (we’ve had glorious warm sunshine for a week but confusingly they’ve forecast snow here tonight, I’ve just fetched all the plant pots into the kitchen …)

  3. Pretty! The apple blossoms are lovely! (And the bokeh is great, too!! 😀 ) Our (two XD ) trees never lost their leaves (which I believe is a main reason we got them), but I want to go check on our grapefruit tree soon; it’s been blossoming and starting to grow itty bitty grapefruits. ☺

    1. HA HA! That question just made me smile. XD Anyway, I pronounce it “RAINY.” 🙂 I think the proper way might be RENN-ee, but then again we have this MBS riddle book, and one of the riddles is like a rebus, and it has Reynie “mulling” over a daydream with RAIN and some dunes. (Get it, Reynie Muldoon? It isn’t the best one in there, but oh well…) So I don’t know! What about you?

  4. Your photography is pure beauty!! I love it! Spring is rather slow here, we’re just seeing the smallest of green on the leafy trees! We have mostly needle trees here though. 😦 I love spring, I can’t wait to plant my 24 packs of flower seeds! 😀 Are you planting flowers? 😉

    1. Aww, thank you sooo much! You are so sweet. ♥ Yay, green! Green in spring makes me happy. 🙂 Ooh, that sounds lovely! I don’t know if we’ll be planting any flowers this year, but we might buy some geraniums or that type of flower from the greenhouse. 🙂

    1. Ha ha, I’m so glad I could help! Although there are several different kinds of green flowered trees and not all of them are maple, but the type with this kind of green flowers are. 🙂
