I don’t know about you, but I kinda loved 2021. 🙂 I’m going to remember this year forever, and to help with that, I’m here with another year-in-review post. I always make these to record highlights of my year, favorite photos I’ve taken, blog stats, goals and resolutions, etc. Enjoy a little scrapbook of my past twelve months!
AHHHHH. GUYS GUYS GUYS, Sully proposed to me! And I said yes! I’M ENGAGED. We’re both thrilled and life is crazy and wedding planning is slightly overwhelming, but WOOHOO! I don’t usually use multiple exclamation points BUT I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD RIGHT NOW!!
Ahem. I’ve been waiting for such a time as this to tell you guys the story of how Sully and I met. It’s a hilariously memorable tale (especially the first part), and now I can supplement it with how he proposed! I HAVE A FIANCÉ. HELP. Okay, I need to settle down…
Oh, and since I want you guys to have a chance to “meet” Sully, we’ll be doing a Q&A post! After you read this, drop as many questions as you want in the comments and he and I will answer some of them in another post. 🙂

This year I decided to make my own planner from scratch – designing and printing the pages, creating a cover, and binding it with my mom’s comb binder. It’s kinda like a bullet journal, but one I pre-made so I don’t have to draw out the layouts again every month. I’m super excited to use such a personalized system for 2022! I’m excited to make some Christmas posts soon, starting next week after we get our Christmas tree, but today I’m finally posting this photoshoot I did months ago with a lovely coral pink rose. One day I realized my shirt matched the color of the roses almost exactly, and couldn’t resist doing a mini still life/self-portrait photoshoot with it! I had a lot of fun seeing how many different pictures I could compose with just one prop.
