Hello friends!
In honor of upcoming Thanksgiving, I thought I’d share some things I’m thankful for these days. As I was writing the title I realized a grateful list was not only what I wanted to write, but who I want to be – a gratefulist. 🙂
Enjoy this collection of happy things, and leave add some things you’re grateful for in the comments!

- the creativity and love of cooking food to share with others
- many neighborhood cats and my sister’s cute kitten
- a week off of one of my part-time jobs
- restful evenings with nothing planned

- going on a walk through our town with my husband, Sully
- patches of sunlight warming my house with peace
- yummy treats Sully surprised me with after grocery shopping for me ❤
- a memorable trip to Philadelphia for my cousin’s lovely wedding

- the fact that I can earn money doing what I love (creating art)
- “sleepovers” with my husband, staying up late talking about random things
- receiving a delightful letter in the mail from a friend
- gloriously warm and sunny weather for November

- fall foliage still burning brightly here and there
- my church family and Bible study group ❤
- my actual family! and my family-in-law! so many amazing people
- healthy houseplants 😛

- hanging out with friends & family
- our house! the perfect fit it is for us and what a blessing it’s been
- that God created a world in color with so many beautiful tints and shades to see
- learning and playing Minecraft with my husband and our siblings 😉

- putting together a puzzle with Sully while we catch up on Bible readings
- fresh mornings with new tasks ahead & peaceful evenings with work completed
- healthy fingers and hands to do all sorts of work
- my ability to serve my church through playing piano

- the wisdom, listening, and encouragement of both our parents
- health, youth, time, and all the things I’ll realize I took for granted in 20 years
- warm soup on chilly evenings
- little bursts of God’s love making itself especially real in my heart in different ways

That was a lot of fun to put together! I hope you enjoyed reading through it and looking at the (somewhat) related pictures. 🙂
What are you grateful for?
Thanks so much for reading, my friends, and have a lovely day!

Aww,I enjoyed reading and viewing the photos! You play the piano, too?!? You have so many skills! 🙂
Oh yes, God has blessed us so much for sure. This year has been extremely difficult, but the Lord keeps giving His strength for each day. I like your new word: gratefulist!
Thank you for praying. Daddy is much better and asked the doctor to get his blood redrawn. Hopefully it’ll be good news!
God bless you and your family, Allison!

So glad you enjoyed it, Valentine! Aww you’re so sweet. 🙂 Yes, I’ve been playing piano for almost 15 years now! Makes me feel old. XD
That’s such a good perspective to have – seeing the blessings even through hardship.
I’m so glad to hear God is answering prayers! I pray for good news indeed.
Happy Thanksgiving, Valentine!

That’s wonderful!
Haha! I’m 30 and just beginning to see a few gray hairs. Maybe now people will believe me when I tell them my age! They usually think I’m in high school. 😉
Thank you, Allison! A Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!

The Minecraft moment reminded me of my nieces and I playing together. It’s actually so much fun.. and was chaotic at times hahah.
