Hello friends!
I had the privilege of doing a family photoshoot for some friends who recently had a cute baby boy! It was a cloudy, misty day, but the Wileys were so photogenic that the photos turned out amazing anyway. 🙂 I’m excited to share some of my favorites from their gallery with you!
Keep reading for adorable baby expressions and the sweetest family.

Kathryn and Richard asked me to take a couple pictures of just the two of them first, which I was actually going to suggest anyway. Look how cute. 🙂 Richard stuck out his tongue between these photos which made them both laugh when I told Kathryn.

I love a good black and white. ❤

A moment of appreciation for the perfect outfit coordination – and Kathryn’s festive socks.

Time to get the baby out of the stroller! I couldn’t resist capturing a few candid shots before we moved on to the posing part.

Awww isn’t Edwin so snuggly? (Also I love his name.)

Heh, he looks a bit bewildered at all the goings-on. He was remarkably chill pretty much the whole time though. Good job, Edwin.

I think this one is so sweet. ❤

You can tell from these photos that this baby boy is very loved.

One of my favorite photos from the entire shoot!

Had to make a black and white version…

(I couldn’t stop thinking of baby Jesus in swaddling cloths for these pictures, not gonna lie… XD) Midlothian Mines park had several lovely photo locations, including this bridge. We just had to dodge a couple of photobombers walking past the background, hehe.

We also found a pretty spot overlooking the water. And the lighting was actually lovely and soft from the cloud cover.

Hehe, I kept laughing at his funny faces – his eyebrows were so expressive.

I’ll end with another one that cracks me up. He looks so smug in this picture, HAHA. I kept in some “bloopers” of Edwin’s expressions which Kathryn was pleased about.

That’s just a sneak peek into their full gallery, but I hope you enjoyed these shots! I definitely enjoyed taking them and getting to hang out with Kathryn and Richard. And Edwin, of course, who was obviously the star of the show.
Which picture is your favorite?
Thanks so much for reading, my friends, and have a lovely day!

What a sweet-looking couple! And baby Edwin (love the name too!) is absolutely precious!!!!!
Haha, he’s so expressive! I really like the black and white with him swaddled between his loving parents. You’re right: it does remind one of how baby Jesus must-have looked. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this darling photoshoot, Allison! God bless you!
