2025 was for sure one of the most memorable, joyful, difficult, important years of my life. 🙂 This was a year of extremes for me – incredible amounts of excitement and love and happiness, as well as lots of pain, frustration, and difficulty. The things I lived through this year will impact my life forever and were something God used to grow me for sure.
As always, I wanted the last post of 2024 to be a yearly wrap-up post. I’ll do this one in last year’s style with a mini summary of each month along with my favorite post. Enjoy!

I’m really looking forward to 2025 and all the adventures, big and small, that the Lord brings our way. I am grateful for all who have followed along this year – your engagement with this blog and your friendship has truly brightened my life!
Thanks for reading, my friends, and have a wonderful New Year!
***Allison***

Such a beautiful post, Allison! It was a joy to read it! You’ve had quite the year, but praise God for His blessings in the midst of stress or hardship. Bless your heart! Glad to hear you’re feeling better from mastitis.
Congrats to Megan and Harrison! So sweet that Sophia will have a cousin not too far apart in age. 🙂
Sweet friend, thank you for the work you put into these posts whenever you’re able. It’s been so fun and a blessing. 🙂 I pray 2025 will be a year of working on your goals, by God’s grace and in His strength, and just experiencing His peace and joy.
I too am hoping to grow in my walk with the Lord. January 7 will mark 7 months of being homeless, but I have learned a lot. I still do miss certain things…but am practicing thankfulness. And I’m also kept busy with our YouTube ministry, which is also humbling as I find areas in my life that needs working on. 😉
Many blessings to you and your dear family, Allison! Happy New Year!!!!

Thanks so much Valentine! And thank you for reading this year – I always enjoy hearing from you. Yes, it was quite the year for me but there were far and away enough blessings to outweigh the hardships, especially because we know God uses hardships to bless us in the end. 🙂 But it was certainly challenging.
YES, I’m so excited for Sophia and I to meet her little cousin this year!
I just want to say that you inspire me, Valentine! The way you choose joy and gratitude and trusting in the Lord despite intense challenges is so encouraging to me to do the same in my own small trials. I’m praying the Lord brings you a home this year but continues completing the good work he has begun in you.
Blessings to you and your family too! Happy New Year!

Aww, you brought tears to my eyes, Allison! Thank you for your sweet and encouraging words. It helped brighten my day. My younger brother is leaving for India on the 16th. He has walked away from the Lord but I’m praying and holding on to hope (however weak it is) that he’ll return. It’s supposed to be an 11 day trip, but he wants to make it longer. Much longer… It’s at this time where I need to rely on the Lord’s strength. In fact, the phrase you quoted about how He’ll complete the good work He began is a verse I’m holding on to lately. 🙂 You’re so right, Allison, about God using hardships to bless us. And it’s all for His glory.
Your words meant so much to me-thank you again! And thank you for your prayers!!! Praying for ya’ll too! 🙂
