Sophia Joy {6 Months}

Our baby girl is half a year old, ahh! She’s getting SO big and, of course, cuter than ever. Enjoy another sweet Sophia photoshoot. 🙂

This is my new phone lockscreen. The colors… the cuteness… the smile… I LOVE HER.

Those big, dark, inquisitive eyes take in EVERYTHING.

Sophia is still obsessed with her friend the mirror baby, haha.

HAPPY GIRL. She has started giggling just a bit. Sully made her laugh first which just melted me. She loves her daddy.

This month she learned to grab her toes which I think is the most classic baby look ever.

Okay pretty girl…!

A moment for her chubby cheeks and cut li’l nose.

There were several teething false alarms this month because she has been QUITE fussy. I took her in to get diagnosed for an ear infection and the doctor thought it was teething instead. But she still has only the two teeth she cut at 4 months. She must have just had an actual sickness with a bad head cold and slight fever, poor thing.

SHE IS SERIOUSLY SUCH A SUPERMODEL. Like… come on!

And then… sometimes she’s just a hilariously squishy baby. XD

But seriously. The older she grows, the more amazed I am at how beautiful my baby girl is! I love getting to capture her growth in these little photoshoots.

We’ll end with one of my top favorites. Sophia bids you a happy week and fond farewell!

I hope those photos brightened your day as much as they did mine. 🙂 Despite the increase in fussiness due to sickness and sleep regression/troubles, Sophia has also increased her cuteness levels this month. She is a pro at sitting (still hates rolling though), and is intensely alert and interactive. I think she went through a growth spurt because she’s just looking way older and bigger, and she’s now almost 17.5 pounds which is double her birth weight! We love you, sweet girl.

  11. Aww, Sophia’s so pretty! And goodness, it just amazes me how fast babies grow!!! The moment they start sitting up, it’s like they’re on the fast track, ha!

    Precious pictures! One of my favorites is the black and white showing her profile, and the 2 side-by-side pictues where it looks like she’s laughing. 🙂

    Sorry to hear she’s uneasy; I hope and pray that passes soon.

      1. Thank you for asking, Allison! My brother stayed in India for two weeks. It was not the best experience, though he did like seeing old forts and thankfully met a few nice people. Once he raises the money, he wants to go to Laos or another Asian country; interested in their religion. He’s running from God, but our hope and prayer is that he’ll know once more that only Jesus satisfies.
