Sophia Joy {9 Months}

 Sophia has now lived in the world for as long as she lived inside me! It’s getting tricky to do photoshoots these days because she doesn’t want to stay still for long. Also because of all the rain and cloudy weather here lately, I opted for a few simple pictures indoors this time. I think you’re going to be surprised at how much she’s “grown up” since last month. Babies & Blooms Retreat

Earlier this month, I got to be part of a special little meetup/retreat for a few of my friends who just had babies. Aria’s mom loves to host special parties, and this one was as beautifully fancy and fun as always! Enjoy a few photos from the weekend, including happy Sophia portraits, cute pets, and DELICIOUS fancy food.

I had tons of fun putting together a woodland menu and filling the room with dozens of Mom’s houseplants.

Enjoy some cute party inspo!

Seashells in the Snow {Assateague & Chincoteague in Winter}

It was beautiful but of course quite windy and frigid – and I have now seen snow on a beach! We actually had to postpone our trip a day because of the incoming snowstorm. Enjoy these pretty seashore pictures and a little travel journal recap of our trip at the end.

This winter is working hard to make up for the past several snowless ones. We just got snow again yesterday, and this time I went out to capture individual snowflakes with my macro lens. I hope you enjoy the results of my cold photoshoot, plus another batch of unpublished snow pictures from an earlier storm.
