Wow, I haven’t done a recent art post in ages! I’ve been making a TON of art in the past few months, and I’m excited to show you guys what I’ve been up to. Today I’ll be showing you a couple of sketchbooks/art journals I’ve been working on, plus some Etsy art and other miscellaneous pieces. Enjoy browsing through these pictures! It is now March, that agonizing month when the sun shines brighter, things start growing, and spring finally seems around the corner… until we get a big snow at the end of the month. -_- Heh heh. Who knows whether the snow will happen this year, but for now, I’m just enjoying the signs of spring while they last! Enjoy these sunny pictures, my friends!

Last night, my little sister Carmen and I had the house to ourselves. We were eating clementines for supper when we had the idea to make a photo story about an orange… and so we did. It’s a rather odd, amusing, and tragic tale, but I hope you enjoy! :’D

A couple of days ago I ventured out into the miserably cold and rainy weather to take some pictures for you guys. It wasn’t very comfortable, but the results were worth it! 😛 I mainly used my macro lens extension tubes to get lovely close-ups of the jewel-like raindrops that coated everything like frost.
If you’re in need of some spring-y, fresh green in the middle of a dull winter, read on! 😀

I started reading through the Bible for the second time a couple of years ago and decided I’d write down my favorite verse from each chapter as I went. I try to read a chapter + journal every night, so thus far I’ve made it to Psalms and filled up nearly six journals! Sometimes I write the verses in beautiful hand lettering and other times… well, I just write them. XD
I’ve really enjoyed this method so far! It helps you slow down and think about the verse or verses, plus it’s fun to look back on the notebooks you’ve filled. Speaking of that, I thought I’d show you guys some of my favorites today. 🙂 Hopefully you enjoy the tour and maybe gain a little inspiration for your own journaling!
