Chessie & Logan’s Wedding!

Hello friends!

My brother got married last Saturday! It was a great day resulting in a beautiful new sister-in-law and a very happy brother. 😀 I brought my camera along to take a few getting-ready pictures and such and also took a few shots during the setup and rehearsal dinner that I wanted to share with you guys.

Enjoy a peek into this lovely rustic wedding!

Etcetera #16 {Alpacas, Potatoes, & River Adventures}

Hello, my friends!

Welcome back to another scrapbook of random photos and behind-the-scenes shots from the past few months! I’m including some phone photography this time, because… these ducks deserve to be on my blog. *nods* I’ll keep the introduction short since we have a lot of photos to get through, but you guys know how this works. Warm up your scrolling fingers and enjoy some cute animals, pretty skies, bright flowers, etcetera!

Birthday Explorations {a Green Truck Ride}

Hello, my friends!

Last week for my birthday, I chose to go on a Green Truck Ride around the farm and it was PERFECT, ahh! “Green truck rides” are kinda a lost tradition in our family. Dad has this vintage, mint-green Chevy truck he built that’s perfect for exploring our land in, but for the past four or five years it’s been out of repair. He finally fixed it up and we got to drive around at golden hour in perfect weather for my 21st birthday! It was an absolutely lovely evening.

Enjoy some happy photos of a delightfully flower-lined path, a soggy dog, and golden hour goodness.

Etcetera #13 {Skyscapes, Self-Portraits, Mysterious Feathers, and Inflatable Pineapples}

Hello, dears!

I’m finally back with a collection of the random photos I’ve acquired since my last Etcetera post! 😀 Some of the pictures for today include vibrant sunsets, undignified cats, friends’ engagement photos, a baby turtle I rescued, my brother playing drums, and a large collection of paper butterflies.

I’m never quite sure what I hope to accomplish with these posts, but if you’re interested in pretty photos or hearing random bits about a farm girl’s life, mayhaps you will enjoy this scrapbooky collection. 🙂 There’s only one way to find out, isn’t there? So, onwards! To the pictures!

Field Work at Golden Hour {Hay Baling & Farm Life}

Hello, dears!

It’s baling season right now, so my dad and brothers are out pretty much nonstop during the day, cutting and baling and putting away the hay and straw we will sell later. Despite all the nature pictures I take, I don’t often make a post about field work or farm life like this for some reason. So I hope you enjoy today’s photoshoots!

Harvesting is one of the most interesting parts of farm work to watch, I think, and it’s also one of the most beautiful to photograph… particularly when you’re taking pictures during golden hour. 😉 Enjoy some peaceful fields, sunrays, and a little bit of farm trivia! 😀 Let’s do this.

Sunbeams & Hay Bales

Hello, dears!

Yay, I finally get to share some of my favorite recent photos! Our cousins from Canada stayed at our house over New Years and we had many lovely adventures with them that will have to last us until we see them again. 🙂

If kids (and sometimes) adults come over to our house and want to go outside, there’s a high chance we’ll take you to 1) the hay barn (basically an enormous, extremely dusty playground), or 2) one of the streams (which can provide hours of entertainment as well). As a bonus, they both make for some pretty fun pictures!

Enjoy this collection of sunbeams and hay bales and warm winter adventures!

September {Poetry & Pictures}

Hello, dears!

Today I have some more poetry + fall aesthetics for you. I’m really excited about both! I went outside just as the sun was setting the other day to get some September-y photos and then had fun editing to make them even more so. I interspersed a few pictures throughout the poem and added the rest at the end because I couldn’t bear to leave them out. 🙂

If you’re excited for fall, you might enjoy this post! If you’re not – well, maybe you’ll be excited for it now. 😛

Enjoy, my friends!
