As you probably know if you’ve followed me for a little while, water drops are one of my favorite photography subjects, and this time I even managed to capture a few upside-down reflections in the droplets – even better! I hope you enjoy this lush photoshoot!

I’ve loved purple basically my whole life, so I was thrilled to see a little “meadow” of purple henbit pop up in one of our fields. Henbit is rather an ugly weed up close, but from the right perspective it can be stunning – so of course, I set off with my camera to find and capture that right perspective. 😉
My little sister and I went to explore it one morning, but sadly I can’t find the pictures from that day. 😦 At least I still have these pictures (which are probably better anyway) from more recently to show you guys! This will be a short and sweet post, but I hope you enjoy all this sun-soaked purple as I have. 🙂

A couple of days ago I ventured out into the miserably cold and rainy weather to take some pictures for you guys. It wasn’t very comfortable, but the results were worth it! 😛 I mainly used my macro lens extension tubes to get lovely close-ups of the jewel-like raindrops that coated everything like frost.
If you’re in need of some spring-y, fresh green in the middle of a dull winter, read on! 😀
