Sand Dunes & Sound Waves {Exploring the Outer Banks}

Hello friends!

We’re back from a lovely vacation to the Outer Banks! Sully and I had a wonderful time walking beaches and going for long drives along the Sound, despite chilly weather. Of course I took heaps of photos I can’t wait to share with you. 🙂

I’m splitting the pictures into two very long posts: one for the beachy scenery today, and one for other miscellaneous photos and adventures next week. So for now, enjoy these beautiful landscapes!

A Collection of Spring Blooms

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I most look forward to about spring is THE FLOWERS. Winter is sadly lacking in the area of blossoms, so I’ve been thrilled to finally see bright colors popping out of the earth these March days.

Natural Bridge State Park {Vacation, Pt. 1}

Hello friends!

Sully and I went on a lovely trip in the mountains over the weekend, ending with a breathtaking tour of Natural Bridge on our way home. Although pictures can’t convey the grandeur of this massive rock formation, I’m excited to show you the ones I got of the bridge as well as the beautiful path beyond it.

The First Signs of Spring

Hello friends!

I have a lush little photoshoot to share with you today. I know it’s only the beginning of February, but I’m already excited for spring. I’ve spotted a bunch of daffodil spears poking up around my yard as well as lots of weed flowers sprinkling the grass.

At this point in the year, most of the signs of spring are tiny and easily missed, so I decided to capture them with my favorite macro extension tubes (aff. link). Enjoy this macro nature photography!
