What a Super Moon!

I’m SUPER excited to show you some pictures I got of the SUPER SUPERMOON! 😀 Heh heh. But yes, I can’t wait for you to see them! I guess it would help if I stopped talking and showed you the pictures…

These first two are rather bad quality, but still neat because they show the size of the supermoon. (Well actually it didn’t look quite that big in real life – but pretty sizable! 🙂 )

I had a lot of fun playing around with silhouettes. They turned out pretty neat, if I do say so myself! XD

Are you wondering how I cut the moon in half? Simple: position yourself so half of the moon is hidden behind the barn and voila!

  2. AHHHHHHHHH ALLISON!! (!!) I’m SO JEALOUS. We couldn’t see the supermoon for most of the time, and I was really bummed about it. Oh well . . .

    These pictures are all amazing! I’d have to say the last one was my favorite, though. 😀

    1. Aww, that’s so sad. 😦 The day of the supermoon (the 14th) I couldn’t see it either because it was too cloudy, but I saw it the 13th and 15th, when it was still gorgeous.

      1. You’re welcome! No worries your photos are way better than anything I could have took. My favorite would have to be the one with the trees in front where you say it looks ‘lacy.’ It reminds me of Japanese aesthetics (I love that stuff.)

  15. I sprained my toe, so I don’t go outside very often. I saw the 15th supermoon. (the supermoon on the 15th) while me and my grandparents were driving home from my baby brother’s birth.

    1. Aww, thanks so much, Sylvia! Actually yeah, it was too cloudy to see the actual supermoon on the 14th where I live too, but I got these pictures on the day before and after the supermoon was full – and it still looked huge!

  23. I think I saw that supermoon. 🙂 But my camera hardly zooms at all, so pictures would’ve been kind of pointless. :\ I did take some pictures of the red moon last night though. 😉

        About the mandala…I was wondering…would you like to make another one? That way we could both have one of our own! And if so, would you like the first one or the second one? I could start it this time, if you want. I was thinking it would be cool for yo to have the one I started and I to have the one you started, or vice versa…but honestly, it doesn’t matter in slightest to me. 😀

    I was wondering, how is your mouth doing? That sounds weird, I know, it’s just that I pray for your mouth to be healed every day so I was wondering if it is! 😀 How is your cousin doing that had the heart surgery? I pray for her too! 😀

    ESPECIALLY IF THIS WAS THE AME MOON I WENT OUTSIDE WITH A BLANKIE WRAPPED AROUND ME TO TRY AND GET> My camera would only capture a tiny BLUR. 😐
