Hello friends!
It’s time for a pretty fall photoshoot! I took my camera to my family’s farm the other day and got some lovely pictures of colorful leaves and golden landscapes.
Enjoy this vibrant, sun-soaked post!

Somehow the trees on the farm always seem a little later and less colorful than the surrounding area. 😦 But this path was still pretty and golden-hued.

Can’t forget a “holding up a leaf with bokeh background” photo, right? 😉

I love the contrast and vibrance in this photo! You can see spots of color peeking through the woods in the background.

A small army of cattails surrounds portions of the pond, backed by bright reds and oranges.

I took these photos around noon but I’m still pleased with the “glow” of the pictures. That’s fall light for you!

A pretty maple growing near the pond. Can’t you just feel the sun shining through the leaves in this one?

Some tiny berries and star-shaped sweet gum leaves.

This is for sure one of my favorites from the photoshoot. The brilliant reds against the blue water… SO gorgeous!

A few fall leaves rested on top of the water, right in a patch of light.

When the soybean fields start changing colors, you know autumn is here.

Dad doesn’t sell these for human consumption but they’re still edible; just not as tasty as garden varieties. I ate a few soybeans just for fun while taking these pictures. 🙂

This huge, puffy chrysanthemum looks like a globe of light with its cheerful yellow color.

I took some sparkly pictures of the dew-laden grass in the morning because it never disappoints…

The glitter! The bokeh! The joy!

I also really like these berry pictures from a vine growing between two barns.

The harsh light conveys the crinkly texture of these autumn leaves quite well.

I suppose this picture looks more like summer than fall, but I found these white asters (?) growing everywhere quite delightful. Apparently so did this bee. 🙂

Another classic Allison shot: backlit foxtails. Ahh.

We’ll end this post with a collection of some leaf photos I couldn’t bear to leave out. Oops. No pun intended. 😛

Ah, I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them for you. Nature photography is so relaxing to me. There’s something about focusing on the small, beautiful details God’s creation that puts things in perspective, you know?
Which picture(s) did you like best?
Thanks so much for reading, my friends, and have a lovely day!

I agree! Taking time to focus on God’s creation makes me dream about Him creating and admiring His work.😊

Oh, how lovely!!!! My favorite picture is also yours, as well as the ones where the bright leaves contrast against a dark background.
It’s takes Texas a while to look like fall, haha! Although last year was the prettiest I’d ever seen living in the state for 30 years. Right now I only see a few leaves changing. We’ve had heavy rains and it’s supposed to be colder next week-exciting!
Thank you for sharing God’s beauty with us! God bless,
Valentine

I loooove that one.
Haha I bet! This year is one of the prettiest I’ve seen where we used to live but not quite as much here. I hope the leaves are glorious for you this year!
Thanks for reading, Valentine. Blessings to you too!
