I haven’t posted pet photography in a while, have I? I decided to remedy that today since you guys seem to quite enjoy pet posts – as do I. 😉 I recently took several pictures of Eeyore, my sister’s pet donkey, as well as some cute pictures of our yellow lab and some… interesting photos of one of our bunnies, hee hee. Enjoy the fuzziness!

The other day I went out with my camera before breakfast to take some pictures of the Canadian geese on our pond. It was a lovely sunny morning with blue sky, blue water, and a shy tinge of green starting to show through winter. I spent quite a while down there and got MANY pictures, a few of which I’ll be posting today. 🙂

I’ve loved purple basically my whole life, so I was thrilled to see a little “meadow” of purple henbit pop up in one of our fields. Henbit is rather an ugly weed up close, but from the right perspective it can be stunning – so of course, I set off with my camera to find and capture that right perspective. 😉
My little sister and I went to explore it one morning, but sadly I can’t find the pictures from that day. 😦 At least I still have these pictures (which are probably better anyway) from more recently to show you guys! This will be a short and sweet post, but I hope you enjoy all this sun-soaked purple as I have. 🙂

All these photos will be in black and white because I thought it fit with with the age and structure of the subject, but don’t worry – it was foggy and dreary, so you’re not missing much color. 😉

How was your Christmas? Mine was a little different than normal, but still wonderful. 🙂 We had 5 celebrations with different parts of the family, caroled at a nursing home, had a beautiful Christmas Eve service, were blessed with many fun gifts, and ate WAY too much good food. XD
Now, the post. Whew, where do I start? 2018 has probably been the most exciting, scary, stressful, wonderful, and all-around life-changing year for me yet. O.o I don’t think I can do it justice in one post, but I’ll try.

Guess what? Last Sunday we got eleven inches of snow, AHHHHH! Since church was canceled and it was Mom’s birthday, we just stayed home and had possibly the best snow day ever. IT WAS MARVELOUS. I took heaps and piles of snow pictures, and I can’t wait to show you a selection of my favorites!
