O Christmas Tree…

We got our Christmas tree Saturday! YAYYYYY! I actually almost forgot my camera, but Mom brought it for me because she wanted me to document this year especially (for a reason I will post about later). Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, I got pictures. Unfortunately most of them are “content over quality,” but hey, the content is good. 😉 Enjoy your virtual trip to the Christmas tree farm!

******************

On the way there I finally and triumphantly closed a debate my siblings and I have had for a long time: whether this strange white statue thingy you can barely see from the road is a dinosaur or a swan. Take a guess.

1 (1280x853)

My camera will tell no lies (although things do get blurry sometimes). IT IS A DINOSAUR. JUST AS I SUSPECTED. I know this is an terribly awful and horrible picture (I cropped it a lot) BUT IT IS PROOF.

2 (640x480).jpg

Ahem. Let’s move along now… the first thing I took a picture of at the tree farm was a chicken. Because I have never seen a chicken before. Or something. (The 27,000 chickens a few hundred feet from our house clearly don’t count…?) But in my defense, I don’t think I’ve seen a grown chicken without a comb. O.o

3 (1280x853)

Wait, why am I talking about chickens and dinosaurs in a Christmas tree post? I suppose I just missed the trees for the forest… SORRY THAT WAS BAD, I KNOW. Okay, Allison, settle down. Trees. Show the people the tree pictures. Ahem.

DSC_0076.JPG5 (1280x1280)4 (1280x1280)

This tree farm has a special “candy cane tree” for kids. Let me tell you now, it is LOADED.

7 (697x1280)

After meandering around practically the whole place, as usual, we finally picked out pretty much the tallest one there was. Which unfortunately wasn’t very tall. We usually like to get a 7-8 foot one, but this was barely 6 once we cut it down. :/ Oh well. There didn’t seem to be many tall trees at the other Christmas tree farms either, from what I heard, so I guess we’ll just have to settle with the one we have. 😉

DSC_0087 (853x1280)

“Timberrrrr!”

DSC_0088 (853x1280)

Some people used sleds to carry their trees back, but eh, we have boys. 😉

8 (853x1280)

10 (853x1280)

Me: “WHAT ON EARTH is Megan doing in this picture?! Ah yes, she’s sucking a candy cane.”

DSC_0095 (1280x853)

The poor little tree was so… well, little, that we had to prop up the stand with thick blocks of wood. XD It really helped, though. It looked a bit sketchy at first, but much better after we put the lights and ornaments on.

14 (853x1280)

It was so much fun to listen to Christmas music and take out the ornaments one by one, telling their stories or making jokes about them, especially the terrible foam kindergarten ornaments. XD Three angels in particular induced a lot of laughter…

#1: The Terror-Inducing Angel: In the sermon on Sunday, our pastor was discussing angels and how they are probably not blonde-haired, blue-eyed, effeminate-looking men wearing long dresses  like they are on Christmas cards (BAHAHAHA), because they’re always terrifying and awe-inspiring to people in the Bible. Anyway, Logan thought this angel he made a while ago was a terror-inducing angel because of his rather pronounced humpback and scraggly appearance (a little hard to see in the photo). HA HA IT WAS SO FUNNY.

DSC_0803 (1280x853)

#2: The Ninja Angel: UGH why is this picture out of focus in just the wrong place?? *Sigh* Anyway, we thought this angel looked like she was karate-chopping something. XD

DSC_0801 (853x1280)

#3: The Gift Angel: This one wasn’t so much funny as neat. Dad said they stopped and helped a lady fix a flat tire or some such thing on their anniversary trip, and she got their address and sent them this ornament later to the “angels” who helped her. Isn’t that so sweet?

19 (1280x853)

Behind the scenes: Jeff reading a random book which happens to be The Daring Book for Girls. HA HA. Also, strangely enough, we somehow have Santa hats even though we don’t do anything else Santa-related? *shrugs* Hey, it goes great with oversized rocket pajamas, right? 😛

13 (1280x1280)

Another Santa hat? Actually, though, I really like this picture. 🙂

16 (1280x853)

HA HA. Megan (referring to our cats): “Who votes that Jinx is better than Tom? ME!” Carmen, in a scandalized voice: “WHAT?!”

15 (853x1280)

After the decorating was finished, Carmen and Mom made us some hot chocolate and we sat around the tree drinking it and talking and listening to Christmas music. It was lovely.

18 (1280x853)

20 (864x1280)

21 (853x1280)

Well, mostly lovely… For some reason Megan and Jeff were compiling a list of synonyms for… let us say, “to toss one’s cookies.” *rolls eyes* That was gross. Oh dear, that’s siblings for you. 😛

17 (1280x1280)

Heh heh, so that’s the story of our Christmas tree this year! I hope you enjoyed it, despite the strange detours. 😉 Getting a Christmas tree and decorating it is one of my favorite holiday traditions. What’s yours?

***Allison***

P. S. Oh, and guys! My blogging friend (and fellow farm girl), Hayley, has started a YouTube channel! Her photography and videography are beautiful, and I always love her posts. ♥ So definitely check out her blog and channel and maybe even follow them both. 🙂

Sketchbook Tour + More

Heyyyy, guys! Goodness it’s been far too long since I’ve done a recent art post. I have been sprinkling in a few pictures for CPC and Art Lab and such, I guess, but today I want to do a round-up of (most of) the pictures I’ve drawn in my sketchbook since the last art post, along with miscellaneous other art. I hope you enjoy browsing through the pictures! 😀

My current sketchbook is almost filled with drawings and crinkly painted pages, so I put a new sketchbook on my Christmas list. 😉 Filled up sketchbooks are so satisfying!

DSC_0061 (1280x853)

Alright, I’m going to go in chronological order because it’s the easiest. XD Just note that I did make a few more drawings than this, but I didn’t want to you every single one or the post would get even more ridiculously long than it is. 😛 Anyway, this first drawing is just a fun, stylized, pen-and-colored-pencil doodle. I rather like the quote.

DSC_0034 (1280x853)

One night I was bored so I decided to try the three marker challenge (drawing a picture with only three colors) with Sharpies. I like some parts of it, but… well, it’s certainly not my best work, heh heh. Oh dear.

DSC_0037 (1280x853)

Um, this is a super strange drawing of a mini world on someone’s finger??

DSC_0039 (1280x853)

Now this drawing I actually like. I drew it from a picture in one of Loren‘s posts which is sadly eluding me. HELP. If anyone knows which one it was, could you tell me please? Thank you muchly. UPDATE: Katie found the post for me! Thank you SO much, Katie. 🙂 Here it is.

DSC_0041 (1280x853)

I told you I liked the quote… XD I was trying out sketching with a colored pencil instead of a normal pencil and I like how it turned out!

DSC_0042 (1280x853)

WARNING. VERY CREEPY DRAWING AHEAD. Okay so apparently I have a REALLY hard time drawing deer (at least without a reference). SORRY GUYS. I did draw some better deer, but that will come later on.

DSC_0043 (1280x853)

*Sigh* Two bad drawings in a row? DON’T WORRY GUYS, IT GETS BETTER THAN THIS, I PROMISE. Anyway, this was a drawing that I tried to do for a CPC story (which you can read here), but it, um, didn’t turn out. But hey, it goes to show that although bad art is inevitable, that doesn’t mean you should give up. ART IS TOO AMAZING TO GIVE UP.

DSC_0046 (1280x853)

Ahem. Oh yes, I drew this little flurry for an online magazine I contribute to! Some are good and some are bad, but hey, you can tell they’re snowflakes. Does anyone else have a hard time making snowflakes symmetrical?

DSC_0049 (1280x853)

I like how this looks so far (it’s a vast improvement on some of my other hair drawings), but I don’t know if I’ll ever finish it. Oh well. 🙂

DSC_0050 (1280x853)

I really like this little guy, hee hee! Megan and I ordered a shirt for my brother that said “I FROGET” since that’s the punchline to one of his favorite terrible jokes which I cannot remember at the moment. XD There are plenty of online sites where you can design your own t-shirts, so I made the art and Megan did the rest of the designing.

DSC_0052 (1280x853)

Now we’re getting into some Christmas drawings. (By the way, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT’S DECEMBER?! I CAN FINALLY DO CHRISTMAS STUFF.) These next two I also made for the aforementioned magazine. I used my watercolor brush pens for this one…

art (1280x1280)

And acrylic paints + a white gel pen for this one. I love how the painting turned out!

DSC_0054 (1280x853)

Here we have a lovely bad quality picture of a NeedtoBreathe quote, also for the magazine…

art 2.jpg

This is just a random Thanksgiving doodle with my watercolor brush pens again…

art 3.jpg

A strange-looking hawk I drew using one of my brother’s other shirts as a reference. 😛

DSC_0060 (1280x853)

And now we’re caught up with my sketchbook! Next we have the “Beyond the Sketchbook” part, a.k.a miscellaneous drawings.

I drew this wrapping paper for our cousins’ birthday because they put these pets on their list (though they obviously knew they wouldn’t get them 😉 ).

DSC_2614 (1280x853)DSC_2615 (1280x853)

Ooh, I really like the next one! I saw a photograph like this on Pinterest (right here) and thought it would be a fun challenge to draw. It was! It turned out a bit streaky, but I’m pretty proud of the lips, which are usually hard for me. XD

art 1.1 (1040x1280)

I’m pleased with this one too! I drew this for the custom art in my recent giveaway, from photos Gracie gave me. Isn’t Gracie’s cat so pretty? ♥ I love her blue eyes.
art (1280x1007)
This card was for my grandma who was recently in the hospital. I’m happy to say that she’s home now, though, and recovering well! ♥
art 1 (1183x1280)
Megan wanted me to draw this card for one of our friends. We always like to debate about… well, a lot of things, so we gave her a handy reminder of the right way to say and use things. 😛 (Note: the border is scrapbook paper – I didn’t draw that part, heh heh.)
art 1 (999x1280)
OH, YAY! Next is my favorite of all of these pictures! Probably one of my favorites I’ve ever done, just because it took SO LONG to draw. XD My friend Aria commissioned me to draw a vintage-looking NYC poster from some photos she took while she was there, plus various other details she wanted, like song lyrics from one of her favorite songs for the border.
NYC poster (1068x1280)
I believe this is the biggest art project I have ever done, both in size and effort. :O
NYC poster 1 (1280x853)
Aha, here we have the better deer picture. XD I painted this for my Etsy shop, The Color Box Studio, where you can buy the original.
DSC_4193 (1280x853)
And lastly we have two coloring pages, also in my Etsy shop. I want to start making more of these because they’re fun to use and inexpensive to buy, not to mention you can print them out as many times as you want!
I made this as a custom page, but after she orders it I plan to make it available to everyone (for a lower price). 🙂 You can see the listing here.

coloring page colored

And this is the newest addition, and Christmas countdown coloring page! You’re supposed to color an ornament each day. I rather like how it turned out. 🙂
Advent 5 (1280x1280)

Phew, you did it! Thank you so much for reading this super long post – I hope you enjoyed! Which piece of art was your favorite? ARE YOU EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS?

***Allison***

P. S. LOOK, IT’S SNOWING! ON MY BLOG! I love that effect. 🙂 If you’re reading this through email or your Reader, you’ll have to actually visit my blog to see it. 😉

Christmas Things, 2016

I suppose you could say this is a Christmas haul post, but for some reason I don’t like the sound of “Christmas haul.” I don’t know why, really… I kind of have weird opinions. XD Anyway, I know I have fun looking at other blogger’s posts like this, so I decided to make one myself. 🙂 But it’s not only going to be a “haul” post: I wanted to show you the gifts I made as well as the ones I received. 🙂

Are you ready? Let’s do the former first and the latter later, shall we? Wow, that was fun to say.

~ Giving ~

I guess I’ll go youngest to oldest. For Carmen, my littlest sister, I didn’t exactly make her a gift. She got an American girl doll for Christmas, because to our delight and surprise, Megan won Maddi‘s amazing giveaway which Megan entered specifically with Carmen in mind!! (And yes, Carmen loves the Maryellen doll we chose for her. ♥) So my present to Carmen was letting her use any of my AG doll things she wanted. 🙂

For my brother Jeff, Megan and I picked out this hilarious book at Books-A-Million. XD He’s always a little… hmm, how shall I put it… rowdy with our cats, with the result being they kind of hate him, ( XD ) so Megan and I thought he would get a kick out of this book – and he did:

dsc_0817-1280x853

For my sister Megan, she asked me to make her some clip-art for her blog design “business” since she prefers the computer part to the drawing part. 😉 So I put together this binder for her.

dsc_0812-1280x853

dsc_0815-1280x853

dsc_0811-1280x853

For my brother Logan and my Dad (and actually for my aunt and uncle too), I made some candied pecans using this recipe. Our whole family loves them, and I don’t make them very often, so I like to use them as gifts. They are seriously SO GOOD! And super easy too! I wrapped them up in a decorative paper cone thingy for all of them, but unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the wrapping. 😦

For Mom, the four older kids gave her a coupon for 4 meals made by us, which she loved because she doesn’t enjoy cooking all that much. XD Annnd I didn’t get a picture of that either. 😦

For my grandparents, my siblings, my two cousins, and I drew them a calendar. Megan, Jeff, and Logan did that last year and they loved it, so we thought we’d do it again with all their grandchildren. 🙂

For my two cousins, I made them each little clinging earrings to look like their cats, Trixie and Roxy respectively. 😀

Sorry about the bad picture. 😦 Anyway, this is Trixie…

And these are Roxys. 🙂

~ Receiving ~

Now for the “haul” part! 😀

My parents gave me an amazing Windsor and Newton watercolor set, Pentel waterbrushes, and Arches watercolor paper! I’m sooo excited to use it all! I’ve used the watercolor set and brushes just a tiny bit so far, and I’m really happy with them. 😀 It’s especially nice to have good quality, fine tip brushes.

watercolors-3-1280x853
I really like this picture for some reason. 🙂 This set is really neat because each little cake of paint is in a removable compartment, so if you run out of one color, you can replace just that instead of the whole set! It also comes with a paintbrush and an expandable palette that you cans store in the container.

dsc_0867-1280x960

My aunt and uncle and cousins gave me this pretty washi tape! ♥

dsc_0840-1280x960
I love the lighting for this picture! My aunt figured out how to get my camera off auto-ISO, and now I can truly be on the Maunual setting! Hooray!

My grandparents gave me this handy camera bag. It’s really neat because the compartments are attached with Velcro, so you can readjust them however you like!

dsc_0901-853x1280

dsc_0903-1280x853

They also gave me… The Keeper of the Lost Cities series! YAYAYAYAY! 😀 (Well actually Megan got half and I got half.) I’ve finished the first three so far, and they’re sooo exciting! Thank you, Clara, for introducing them to us. 🙂

And they gave me this cute little blank journal for Bible journaling. (I wrote the words with my erasable gel pen – more on that later.)

bible-journal-1280x853

My cousins gave me even more lovely watercolor paper! (The Arches pad is from my parents, and the rest are from my cousins.) It’s so nice to have good watercolor paper to work with. *Happy sigh*

dsc_0877-1280x853

These next two things are from my stocking: One is this pair of cozy Cabin socks. My friend also gave me some fuzzy socks, and I am quite pleased. 😀 I LOVE FUZZY THINGS!

dsc_0836-1280x853
Purple + Fuzzy = ♥ Oh, and the cozy pajamas are from my parents too. 😉

The other is a couple of erasable gel pens I showed you in this post. And guess what? They really do work! It’s pretty amazing. See?

It does leave a little bit of a mark behind if you press down hard. But when you just write with it lightly, it erases almost perfectly!

Phew, that was quite a long post, but I hope you enjoyed it! What was your favorite thing you got for Christmas? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmastime enjoying being with your family and opening gifts and thanking God for the greatest gift of all: Jesus. ♥

***Allison***

P. S. Be watching for my end-of-the-year post! I hope to schedule it for 12:00 tomorrow night. 🙂 I can’t believe it’s almost 2017!!

Merry Christmas to All! :D

OH MY GOODNESS IT’S CHRISTMAS TOMORROW! How can that BE?!

I hope you guys had a great Christmas Eve! We sure did. 😀 We went to a Christmas celebration at my grandparent’s house where we ate tons of delicious food and played so many fun games. Then we visited my great grandma who sadly is in the hospital right now (nothing life-threatening though, thankfully). And after that we went home where we put on our new pajamas, made some popcorn and hot cocoa, and drove around looking at Christmas lights. So fun!

Well, I thought I’d post a little Christmas photoshoot to get you extra much in the Christmas mood. 🙂 And also because I LOVE these colored Christmas lights! Enjoy!

dsc_0449-1280x853dsc_0451-1280x853dsc_0453-1280x853dsc_0455-1280x853dsc_0456-1280x853dsc_0457-1280x853dsc_0458-1280x853dsc_0459-1280x853dsc_0460-1280x853dsc_0461-1280x853dsc_0464-1280x853dsc_0465-1280x853dsc_0466-1280x853

Ohhh I love Christmas bokeh so much. ♥♥♥ 😀 Did you have a favorite picture? My favorites were the 7th and 8th and the last two . 😀

WAIT. Before you go, I really want to show you this amazing, inspiring video Dad found last night. This girl is ten years old, and she has autism and ADHD. She also has a beautiful, beautiful voice. The article said she started singing to build her confidence at school. She sings the song “Broken Hallelujah”, but it’s a Christian version with different lyrics. I think it might be my new favorite Christmas song. ♥ Oh it’s sooo pretty! Listen for yourself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvUMDp-snTI&feature=youtu.be

Wasn’t that gorgeous? *Happy sigh*

Did you have a good Christmas Eve? Are you excited for Christmas? (Or did you have a good Christmas, if you’re reading this post after Sunday?)

***Allison***

P. S. My aunt who is a professional photographer came over the other day to give us our family pictures, and she helped me figure out my camera a bit more. It turns out my camera was on manual focus instead of auto focus, which was really annoying – it takes forever to focus using the focus ring, and for some reason it came that way when I bought it! Boy am I glad she fixed that for me. XD It’s weird because I knew my way around my old camera really, really well, and now I feel like a beginner again with my new dSLR. XD Oh well, it’s exciting!

Art Lab, Episode 18: Bring on the Christmas Lights!

DSC_0427 (800x533).jpg

Are you guys excited for Christmas? I sure am! Today I have a fun Christmasy way to decorate an envelope for your pen pal or friend or family. Grab an envelope, fine-tip markers or gel pens, and colored pencils, and here we go…

Idea: Christmasy envelope

  1. Set the stage. envelope-1-1280x960
  2. Hang up the strands. envelope-2-1280x853
  3. String on the lights. envelope-3-1280x853
  4. Turn the lights on.envelope-4-1280x853envelope 5 (1280x853).jpg
  5. Add the lyrics of a favorite Christmas carol.

    dsc_0427-1280x853
    CHRISTMAS BOKEH!
  6. Send it off to make someone happy!

Ahh, I love Christmas lights. They’re so cheery, and really make Christmas feel cozy. Don’t you agree? Do you string lights up around your house? We don’t usually, but this year we strung some on our front porch, and it looks beautiful! 😀

If you made some art inspired by this post, we’d love to see it! Visit our “Art Gallery” page here to see the details. Thanks for reading! 😀

***Allison***

P. S. I have some fun sidebar changes planned… *rubs hands*. XD

DIY Pallet Christmas Tree

diy (400x800).jpg

The kids made this little tree for our mom’s birthday. It wasn’t that hard (well, we made it ourselves!) and it turned out great! I put together a little tutorial for you guys. 🙂

  1. Pick your pallet. We have a huge pile of pallets behind one of our barns, so we had plenty of options. You don’t want the boards to be too far apart or it looks odd. This is the one we chose: (*Shudder* I know these next few pictures are terrible quality, but I can only say that the lighting in Dad’s shop is also rather terrible. XD ) DSC_0319.JPG
  2. Draw the line. We simply set a board on the pallet at the angle we wanted, and traced a line with a pencil. You might want to use a carpenter’s pencil or Sharpie so you can see the line better. You can measure and all that boring stuff if you want to be more precise, but we just traced. 😉
  3. Cut it out. We – meaning my brothers – used a Sawzall to cut along the lines. This was definitely the trickiest part of the process, and my brother accidentally broke one of the branches when he stepped on it. O.o (We fixed it by first tracing the broken pieces onto an extra pallet board, then cutting it out, and then screwing it back to the tree’s “trunk”.) Make sure to saw the boards at the right angle so you don’t hit the back boards while you’re cutting the top ones.
  4. Trim it up. You’ll have to cut or break off the back boards so they don’t stick out in front. We did this by a combination of cutting them off with a Sawzall and whacking them off with a hammer. (Be as careful as possible, though – don’t want to break any limbs (human or tree)! XD ) Lookin’ good!tree
  5. Sand it smooth. We didn’t actually sand it completely smooth because we wanted it to have a rustic look, but it’s a good idea to at least sand the sawed off edges a bit.
  6. Secure the branches. Some of the pallet boards were a little loose after all that, so we put in a few extra screws to secure them. screwing
  7. Paint it. Yay, now for the fun part! We painted ours all green, but you could also do red and green stripes, or leave stripes of raw pallet wood for a more rustic look.
  8. Bring on the lights. This is optional, but we strung some pretty Christmas lights on it to make it more interesting. We used white, but you could also use colored lights.dsc_0347-1280x853
  9. Display it proudly. Ta-daa! You’re finished! You may want to stop at that, but on the other hand I think it would look neat to make a forest of trees in different sizes and colors. So fun! dsc_0357-1280x853

I hope that wasn’t too confusing. :/ Anyway, do you like how it turned out? I think it’s pretty cute! You can click here to see my sister’s post which has a bunch more pictures of us making the tree. Thank you, brothers, for doing a lot of the hard work for us. 😀 ♥

Merry Almost-Christmas! (HOW CAN IT BE SO CLOSE ALREADY?!)

Flashbacks + Christmasy Photos

Hej! 😀 (That’s hello in Swedish. Just wanted to make sure you’re alive and watching for typos.)

Ahem.

On my survey, one of the post suggestions was flashbacks, and I thought that would be a good idea. I’ve gotten so many new followers lately who have missed out on all of the wonderful, long-ago posts I did. Heh heh. XD

Anyway, since I can’t hardly bring myself to post just a page full of links, I sprinkled in some Christmas photos for good measure. Warning: do not judge my photography by these photos. XD Hee hee, some of them aren’t the best quality, but I think they’re neat anyway. 😉 Maybe next year I will have some stunning Christmas tree photography to show you, because by then I’m sure I’ll be an expert at my camera. 😛

dsc_0230-1280x853
We got our Christmas tree last Saturday! It took us forever, and the one we decided on was rather smaller than usual, but it was fun nonetheless. 🙂 Plus it looks pretty cute in our living room.

I really like this photoshoot I did last year. Click here to see some warm and summery pictures from a May walk.

I absolutely LOVE the bokeh in this picture, even though the picture itself isn’t that great of quality. :/

Ah yes, good ol’ Chopped. We still play this game sometimes. Click here to read “Chopped!”, a fun cooking game for kids. Let me tell you, sometimes the cooks’ entries are rather… how shall we say it… interesting. XD But fun. Always fun.

We find so many weird eggs in our chicken houses. Click here to read about some of them. (By the way, that reminds me of a thing I saw a thing on Pinterest about a farmer finding a whole egg inside of an egg. Pshaw, we’ve found a bunch of those. XD )

Maybe it’s playing “Joy to the World…”

And last but not least, a review of 2015 with LOTS of photos included. I’m planning on making a post like this for 2016 too. If I thought last year was a big year, what about this year?! This year was huge! Anyway, click here to see read a review of 2015. (Guys, it’s almost 2017 already. WUT?!)

I hope you enjoyed this post, and had fun browsing through the links. 🙂 Do you get a Christmas tree? Do you cut your own, buy one from a store, or set up an artificial tree? We always cut ours down from a tree farm. *Happy sigh* So fun! 😀

P. S. I just discovered that a.) the little twisty thing on my camera is a focus ring, and b.) IT WORKS! My old camera didn’t have  a focus ring, and at first I was kind of disappointed that my new one didn’t seem to be focusing very well. Oops. Heh heh. Nowwwww, I get it. XD

#1. Rapunzel! She is the only one who guessed everything right – Congratulations!

(Wait! Actually, my sister Megan got them all right too, but it’s easier for her, like she said in her comment, because she lives in the same house as I do, and sometimes she sees me taking pictures of the things… But I’m still very glad you guessed, Megan!)

#2. Genna and Josie

#3. Misty and Emma

#4. K. A.

I just did first and second place winners this time, but if you want to see the blogs of the other people who guessed, please go check them out via the comments below.

Again, thank you so much for playing, everyone! No matter how many you got right, I had lots of fun reading your guesses, and I hope you had fun playing too!

Mystery Pictures #5 – Christmas Edition

I thought I’d do a mystery pictures post about Christmas-y things, since it is only 11 days until Christmas! (*Gasp!!* Eleven days! It hardly seems like December at all.) See my other mystery picture posts here, here, here, and here.

OK, here’s the deal: I will show you 5 mystery pictures. Four are related to Christmas, and one is not. If you think you can solve the mysteries, comment below with your guesses. In the near future I will reveal all of the mysteries, and show you the points tally for each person who guesses. I won’t approve the comments for this post until after I have revealed the mysteries, just to keep everything fair and square, so don’t worry if your comment isn’t showing up. Alrighty, are you ready?! Let’s do this!
