Sisters Photoshoot

The other day Megan and I packed up our cameras and my bunny Lily and drove up to an alfalfa field to do a little photoshoot of each other. It was so much fun – but rather chilly. XD I hope you enjoy the pictures! (And you can see Megan’s pictures of me here.)

Megan experimented with no glasses… she couldn’t see me so it’s a good thing I could see her. XD

The Story of Why I Didn’t Post This Sooner: I dropped my camera’s memory card and it pretty much vanished only it didn’t because it got wedged under the computer desk for a long time and I was bewildered and sad and frightened (not really) and then Dad lifted up the desk and at long last I found my beloved memory card and… The End. (Note: That was NOT a good example of a grammatically correct sentence. Just in case you were wondering.)

The View from the Roof

I’m back! 😀 We just got back from our vacation and it feels so good to be home. (And now I can blog again, hehe.) We had many fun times and some rather not so fun times, but I haven’t sorted all my pictures yet, so a vacation post will have to wait.

Until then, this Life on the Farm post should hold you over. 😛

Before our vacation our friends came over and we traipsed around on a big barn roof with them. It was lots of fun! The view was great from up there. There’s also this one shiny part of the roof that’s good for sliding on, so we did that a lot, then for some reason everyone started yodeling at the cows (don’t ask me why!). We played some board games on the roof as the sun set, then made the slightly scary descent down and went back home. *Happy sigh* Fun times.

P. S. Oh. My. Goodness. I HAVE 626 FOLLOWERS. SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I’m so happpppyyyyyyyy! That is like… impossible. Right? Yes it is… no it isn’t! Oh my goodness I can’t even believe it! I wouldn’t have nearly this many if my fairy house post hadn’t been featured on Discover, but it was, and I am so thankful. I’m SUPER astounded that this even happened! Summer Fun: Shaving Cream Fight

We had a shaving cream battle with our friends, and it was SO MUCH FUN! We each were supplied with a bottle of the really cheap shaving cream (like 97 cents per bottle), and teamed up girls against boys. It was super messy, but in the best way!

Some tips:

Do this on a hot day ’cause you’re going to need to rinse off under a hose. 😉
Make sure it’s okay to get the yard messy because it will get messy – but don’t worry, after a good rainshower everything should be squeaky clean again.
Be warned: the smell of shaving cream will be everywhere!

Just look at that glorious mess! 😀

I guess I can check that off my bucket list!

Pool!

I had a lot of fun taking these pictures on one of our trips to our neighbor’s pool. I love swimming! (And photography.)

My siblings and cousins were trying to throw each other off the inner tube. XD Very splashy indeed!

I love these next pictures! I dripped water into the pool and took pictures of the splashes. Aren’t the bubble-pockets so neat?

One Spring Evening…

We went over to our friends’ house last Sunday, and I took my camera along. 😉

They just got an adorable Miniature Schnauzer puppy named Snoopy. GAAH! He’s so cute!

I also got the best moon pictures I have ever taken. XD It really helped that it was still light when I took the pictures.

I edited this picture of their neighborhood on my camera with the “Miniature Effect” setting. I really like how it turned out! It almost looks like a fall evening instead of a spring one.

My friend kindly let me take some pictures of her. 🙂 ♥ The first picture is not edited, but the rest are. (The third picture I actually took last summer.)

I had so much fun editing the pictures. 🙂 Hmm… maybe I should do some PicMonkey tutorials! What do you think?

P. S. Recently my littlest sister Carmen has been determined to learn how to fly. XD XD XD She asks Mom if it’s possible for people to fly, and Mom explains that God just didn’t make humans to able to fly. But she thinks that maybe she’ll be the first person ever to do it! XD XD XD It cracks me up! But it’s adorable too. 😀 Hey, we all wish we could fly, right? One can always dream…
