Hello friends!
Welcome to another installment of my virtual scrapbook, where I collect miscellaneous photos and adventures from the past few months. This time we have gorgeous landscape and nature photos, adorable new pets, amusing letter boards, and more. Enjoy!

walks around town
While Sully and I were walking around town I saw plants in this window and had to cross the street to take pictures. Aesthetic. 😀

Isn’t that “crumpled” pot cool? The second picture is a dark alleyway featuring a pool of light.

Speaking of light, the wholesale electric store looked so cozy in the darkening evening.

I like the moody, slightly creepy feel to these two… The top picture is an alley where Sully wants to start “the world’s narrowest lemonade stand.” HAHA. Don’t ask; I have no answers.

We’ll end this section with two much more cheerful photos. I love how our little town looks at golden hour!

portraits
These first several portraits were leftovers from The Spring Fling post. Harrison and Megan being all cute and matching, and an aesthetically blurred swing photo.

Sully trying out Jeff’s hat and showing off the origami butterfly I taught him how to fold. 🙂

One day Sully brought the work truck home and cleaned our windows! It made me feel so happy and loved. He is an excellent window cleaner. *nods*

Just two selfies I wanted to remember – one from Sully’s birthday and one from a slightly sweaty walk. My smile is great and Sully’s in the second. Why does it never happen at the same time? *facepalm*

Sully took the first super flower-y picture of me for my art IG, @thecolorboxstudio, after I finished painting this chair. But I never posted it, oops. The second is a reflected self-portrait from vacation.

A selfie to represent all the joy I’ve received from the rainbow prisms my parents gave me for my birthday! And an ADORABLE picture of two of my nephews sharing a seat and a Pepsi. 😛

We’ll end with two more random photos: my aunt at work when we photographed Kendall & Matt’s wedding, and Carmen dressed up for wacky week for her theater camp.

nature
A few lush photos to start this section of. The tiger lily picture isn’t unique or original at all but it’s one of my recent favorites nonetheless.

I adore how our town literally blossoms in summer – there are flowers EVERYWHERE. So beautiful!

On one walk back in May I think, we found a massive spread of these beautiful fluffy blooms that trailed down the path on both sides! I desperately wished I’d brought my DSLR but just had to make do with a phone camera. It was about 50X more breathtaking in real life.

Two bits of nature that made me smile: a leaf with eyes and tiny sprouts that suddenly appeared in the corner of our shower window!

Even though these pictures aren’t related, I really like how they look side by side. The colors contrast beautifully.

animals
We’ll start off this section with one of my favorite pictures in this post – a shot of our friends dog hidden in the trees. Also their cute calves!

A collection of ducks. The last one of Sully and the lonely arboretum duck makes me smile.

Megan got a new kitten she named Bunny! She and Harrison actually found her abandoned in the middle of a back road on one of their dates so she brought her home. CUTENESS.

And Chessie and Logan got an adorable Beagle puppy named Shiloh! MORE CUTENESS.

landscapes
I love this set of peaceful mountainscapes. And I like the editing on the last one especially.

Now for some cloudscapes. Clouds are an amazing thing, aren’t they? The last picture is hard to tell but it’s a combo of sunset + rainbow!

Various landscapes from various travels.

I love the glow of both of these phone shots! The first is a trail we walked the other week and the second is a long-ago shot of purple irises at my parents’ farm.

etcetera
Now for the randomness. Jeff graduated highschool! At his small graduation party, Sully and Carmen overcame the lack of one or two letters very creatively. :’D The second picture is a fan on a hotel porch I just found aesthetic with the wall colors.

While Mom has been recovering (and not recovering 😦 ) from her various surgeries and tests, the girls have helped out a lot around the house. I came over once to help put together bouquets for her @applemintflowers truck. She’s mostly feeling good enough to do them herself now, praise God!

A couple of house shots. I loved this sinkful of morning light and had to take a picture. The second one features a blanket I recently finished crocheting and am very proud of. 😀 It’s currently on a living room chair but you can see it better spread out here.

For Dad’s birthday we went to Waldy’s, a cute ice cream truck in town, and were treated to delicious dessert with a STUNNING sky. Pictures for sure don’t do it justice.

We’ll end with a couple of film-style phone shots I really like from a recent walk.

Phew, we made it! I had a lot of photos to get through. That was fun though! I hope you enjoyed that mishmash of pictures. 🙂
Which section or photo was your favorite?
Thanks so much for reading, my friends, and have a lovely day!

I Love the variety of your pictures! Our orange tabby is a rescue, found alone on a Powhatan road on a date night.😊

That was a fun collection of photos! Your town is so darling with the old buildings and beautiful flowers! That’s a sweet picture of you sitting on the pretty chair you painted. 🙂
Glad that Bunny now has a home where she’s loved! Such a lovely blanket-you’re so talented!
What beautiful views of the mountains! And those clouds!!! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen one; at least big enough. It’s 106 degrees where I live in Texas and we’re in a drought.
So sorry to learn that your mom hasn’t been well. I pray she heals soon!
Thank you for taking the time to put these photos together. I enjoyed it! God bless and keep you,

Indeed, I think our town is charming. Thank you!
Oh my goodness that sounds excruciatingly hot and dry. Hope you get much-needed rain soon and some pretty clouds to go with it. 🙂
Thank you so much for your prayers. She’s doing a lot better so far but still not quite normal.
Thank YOU for taking the time to read through all of them and leave a comment! Blessings to you too, Valentine. ❤
