Healthy Homemade Meal Ideas

Hello friends!

Recently I’ve really gotten into creating meals that are both nutritious and delicious. I find cooking from scratch so fun and rewarding! I’ve been documenting some of my favorite dishes on my phone and wanted to share a collection of them with you today.

Read on for menu inspiration for all three meals, plus links to my favorite recipes. These are especially helpful if you’re looking for high-protein, real-food ideas. Enjoy!

  1. These all look so good!! I’m a major healthy eater, so I love to see inspo from others my age! I usually get flak for eating/being healthy because I’m “already thin,” but this is so far from the point haha. I view my body as the temple of God and want to treat it well! I also am very interested in raw milk…wish I could find a local farmer for that!!

    1. Yay! I know, I love healthy eating inspo – or honestly just balanced, attainable eating hehe. Yeah, my version of healthy eating means focusing on nutritious food that keeps my body feeling good and working properly, not specifically losing weight.
Raw milk is great! I’m biased because we grew up on a dairy farm and now get milk from Sully’s parents’ raw milk dairy. 🙂

      1. Yes, attainable! Too many influencers going too far. haha

I’ve never had it, but I know it’s soo much better for you than the processed dairy we get at the store. I have friends in North Dakota that sell their milk for $10/gal but it usually goes for $15+. Do your family or Sully’s sell theirs locally?

        1. Indeed. Fun to watch but not very approachable.

Yeah thankfully we get a “family discount” hehe; it’s not cheap! Yes, Sully’s family sells it to drop sites in a circumference of several hours.

  2. These all look so good! We all eat very healthy food in my family, so it’s always nice to find more inspiration for when I make my own lunches and such. Also I’m BIG fan of avocado toast, so it’s lovely to it featured on the post!

…then again, I just really like avocados in general…

    Another lovely post Allison!

  3. Okay, these all look AMAZING… but also your photography skills probably could make a peanut butter and sandwich seem like a gourmet option. My mouth is just watering!! Definitely coming back to look over your ideas very soon, because I’ve been stuck in the same ol’ recipes for awhile. Thank you for sharing these ideas with all of us!!

    1. Aww haha, I appreciate that because I always feel like I take subpar food pictures – I just snap one with my phone before eating. Glad they look appetizing and helpful for future meal planning!

    1. I’m so glad my food photos look appetizing because I struggle with that too! It helps a lot to take my plate somewhere in the kitchen with plenty of sun. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
