A Small Yard & Garden Tour

Hello friends!

In the last post I gave you guys a house tour, so I thought I’d follow it up with a little walk around my yard and garden. I live in a neighborhood right outside of town, so my yard isn’t large. And due to outrageously brazen groundhogs and a sad lack of weeding, my garden is struggling a bit.

However! You know me – I love looking for bits of beauty and nature everywhere, even in a regular suburban yard. So enjoy the result of my searches. 🙂

Homemaking Tips + a Little Home Update

Hello friends!

One of my very favorite things is making our house into a home. I adore decorating, cooking, gardening, and “keeping house” so that every space feel cozy and welcoming.

Today I wanted to show you around my home plus share tips and tricks to save money and live better! (Nope, not a Walmart ad.) You certainly don’t need to do all this stuff to have a nice home, but being efficient and resourceful brings me joy for some reason, so I thought I’d share in case it thrills you too. 🙂

Enjoy these pretty pictures of one of my favorite places to be.

Family Beach Vacation, Part 4 {The Finale}

Hello friends!

This last post in the vacation series is going to be more of a travel diary, documenting memories throughout the whole trip rather than being a collection of pretty photos from one or two days. Spring Fling 2023 {Event Photography}

Hello friends!

Our family friends the Borns love to host big events and parties at their farm. Recently they put on their famous “Spring Fling” which includes a family obstacle course, crosscut-sawing and doughnut-eating contests, a cupcake-baking competition, barn dancing, and more. I was the “lead photographer” for the event and had so much fun wandering around capturing pictures of laughter, cute kids, and pretty scenery.

Scroll through this post if you need a smile. 🙂

A Day in My Life as a Homemaker

Hello friends!

Today I thought it would be fun to give you guys a glimpse into how I balance my work and homemaking. The problem is, I don’t have very set routines. I have two part time jobs with inconsistent schedules, meaning my day rarely actually looks like the one neatly laid out in this post. Isn’t that how it always goes though?

Regardless, I thought you might enjoy hearing how I fill my days as a newly married wife. If that sounds interesting, read on!
