An Enchanting Woodland Bridal Shower

Hello friends!

Last week my matron of honor and my family pulled off an amazing surprise bridal shower for me! I knew there was going to be a shower, but I had no idea it was going to be a picnic in the woods. They secretly cleared a path into the forest and filled it with beautifully decorated tables and heaps of flowers. I had a wonderful time being with my friends and enjoying all the loveliness my family worked so hard to create. ❤

I wanted to share party inspiration and pictures with you guys, even though I didn’t take any of them. Credit to my Aunt Andrea and my friend Erin who used Aria’s camera to take pictures that Aria then edited. Read on for an exciting announcement ( 😉 ), cottagecore aesthetics, stunning bouquets, a “grazing table,” cute fairy gardens, and a happy Allison.

Chessie & Logan {Couples Photoshoot}

Hello friends!

I have a super cute photoshoot for you guys today featuring my brother Logan and his girlfriend Chessie. Logan asked me to take pictures of the two of them for a gift for Chessie, which I thought was such a sweet idea! It makes me so happy seeing my brother and my friend together, especially because THEY ARE ADORABLE. I think you’ll agree once you see the pictures. 😉

Enjoy some golden hour goodness!

Hello friends!

Once again, credit for a lot of these questions goes to my fiancé, Sully. I hope you enjoy answering them as much as I have!

A Collection of Spring Raindrops

Hello friends!

I have a lush, springy photoshoot for you today. I was going to go out and take pictures of a sunny spring day when… it rained. So I got out my macro lens kit instead and took some close-up pictures of the water drops! I love how they turned out.

Enjoy this peaceful little photo collection. 🙂

Carmen & Nellie {a Photoshoot}

Hello friends!

Are you ready for some cuteness today? My youngest sister Carmen asked I could take pictures of her and her goat Nellie. I was happy to do so since goodness, it’s been so long since their last photoshoot! This whole photo session was completed in about 20 minutes, between some friends leaving after a visit and the sun going down. My camera battery died after only a few shots, but we decided to keep going with my phone as the backup camera.

Despite the chaos of all that plus Nellie wanting to run away and eat grass the whole time, we got some lovely photos that I can’t wait to share with you! Enjoy. 🙂

How to Paint a Watercolor Galaxy

Hello friends!

Today’s post is a fun little art lesson for one of my favorite things to paint -galaxies! I’m hoping to make an entire watercolor video course one day, but… that has to wait until after my wedding. Heh. Meanwhile, I thought I’d try out a written format with photos. Let me know what you think!

Enjoy some art therapy! 🙂

In Which I Attempt to Take Pretty Pictures of Dead Weeds

Hello friends!

You know how winter is so brown and gray and dead-looking that it gets kinda sad after a while? Well, I decided to challenge myself to find beauty in that by photographing a bunch of dried weeds, hehe. It was honestly fascinating to notice the structure and form of old growth – the bones holding up last year’s color, as it were.

This was a fun experiment and I hope you guys enjoy the result!
