We recently visited our old farm and the area where we used to live because of some graduation parties, so I made use of the time to get plenty of cute pet pictures. 😉 I didn’t get many of Pebbles, sadly, but I did photograph my cousins’ adorable new puppy and two of their three cats. I’m pretty pleased with how the photos turned out, and I hope you guys are too! Enjoy your daily dose of cuteness!

Remember how one of our friends had a barn dance at our shop last year for her birthday party? Well, this year we did it again and it was SO much fun! The shop was a mess, so it was a good thing we had a dance motivating us to clean it up. 😛 I took plenty of pictures throughout the preparation and actual party, of course, and I hope you guys enjoy browsing through them!

Hello, dears!
Remember the post from last year about swimming in our duckweed-covered pond? Well, it’s swimming season again and “our pool is open!” XD It’s a rather greenish pool, but hey, it’s water, right?
One Sunday evening a couple of weeks ago, we all went down to the dock and my siblings went swimming and canoeing. Sort of. I stayed on dry land and took photos instead, heh heh. I managed to capture quite a lot of amusing action shots and funny expressions, which I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

When I took the baling pictures a while back, I also got a bunch of summery farm photos in the fields nearby. The landscapes on this part of our land are lovely, with bright rows of crops and fences surrounded by buttercups and waving grass. I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Today I have a different sort of photoshoot for you. While I was taking pictures for my Day in the Life post, I found a bunch of interesting subjects in our library and just kept snapping as I walked around. 😛 I usually prefer nature photography, but it was fun to capture the texture of man-made things and the character of our old farmhouse from the inside. By the time May rolls around, the orchard grass and fescue are getting tall and ripe in the hayfields, ready for the first harvest of the season. I took these photos of my dad and brother baling a field a little while ago, and thought you guys might like to see some behind-the-scenes (and some picturesque farm landscapes 😛 )! I don’t usually photograph tractors or machinery that much, but it was fun for different. 🙂

Last Saturday evening I decided to wander around our farm and take some pictures, and I’m so glad I did! The woods and fields looked so peaceful and gorgeous in the golden light. ❤ Since the lighting was perfect, I focused on adjusting the settings in the moment to capture beauty without having to edit it later.
I absolutely love how the photos turned out, but instead of just saying that after every photo, I’m going to share some of my favorite music interspersed throughout with a link to a YouTube video for each of them. 🙂 I mostly listen to Christian music, but I also have a few pop, country, classical/instrumental, and folk songs on my playlist. Pretty much whatever strikes my fancy. XD They’re all clean, though; you don’t have to worry about that. 😉
