~Make Your Own Sunshine~

Hello, dears!

The other day, I asked my sister if she wanted to do a photoshoot together, but she thought it would be best to wait till it was sunny instead of foggy. I thought, “Oh well, I guess I’ll have to make my own sunshine.” 🙂 So I gathered up my camera and tripod and spent a couple of hours taking “selfies.” HAHA! It was really fun, although extremely difficult sometimes to get a clear picture with the self-timer.

I also discovered that it’s hard to give a real smile when you’re just staring at a camera and not a person. And that I really don’t know what to do with my hands when I’m posing. :[] Despite my un-photogenicness, I hope you enjoy seeing the poses and locations and editing techniques like I do when I browse other people’s photoshoots! 🙂 Continue reading

Pond Poems

Hello, dears!

Before we get started, thank you SO much for helping my first post of sketches tie for the “best writing/poetry post” on Megan’s Best of 2018 awards! It was lovely of you all to nominate me, for that and for the other categories. It made my day!

Anyway, I mention that because… today I have another sketch for you! I wrote it almost a year ago, but waited to post it til I had another set of pictures to go with the words. Now I do, and I’m so excited to share it!

These words are a little bit strange, but honestly, so is my mind sometimes. XD I still like it (especially the ending), and I hope you do too. 🙂 Find a comfy spot, sit down for a spell, and enjoy…

World of Glass {Icy Photoshoot}

Hello, dears!

I realize I just posted kind of a wintry photoshoot, but AHH, I love these pictures too much to save them for later! I’d say this is one of my favorite photoshoots I’ve done in a while. 😀

We were supposed to get a bunch of snow last week, but it ended up mostly turning to ice. I was rather disappointed at first, but when I actually went outside, oh my goodness it was STUNNING. It looked like everything was coated in glass, every twig was dripping crystal. Enjoy these photos of an icy wonderland!

Misty Waters

Hello, dears!

We have this charming little stream on our property that for some reason I’d only explored one side of til recently. But when I did, I found it was even more beautiful than what I’d seen before, if possible!

Shortly after I explored it the first time, a foggy day came by and, imagining how beautiful the stream would look in the mist, I took my camera back down and ended up with some lovely, foggy pictures that I can’t wait to show you guys! Would you like to come explore the stream with me?
