A Little Winter Walk {the Second}

I took my camera along today for our nature study walk and got some pretty pictures of moss and farm scenery and sister’s eyes and such to show you guys. 🙂 Enjoy!

Note: I don’t always edit my pictures, but I did edit most of them this time – and it was a lot of fun!

Doesn’t this look a little like a city skyline?

I’m kinda fascinated with eyes. They’re so beautiful and unique! This is my sister Megan’s eye:

I love this picture so much! The angle makes her eye look especially large and dramatic – and pretty. 😀
What do you think this thing is? Believe it or not, it’s actually a praying mantis nest! Come springtime a bunch of little babies should hatch out. 🙂
Heh heh, Maggie. XD

I love our farm. ♥
My friend kindly allowed me to take a picture of her!
I used the miniature effect on PicMonkey for this photo.

I loooove moss. The vibrant, cheery color just makes my heart happy. ♥

My friend found quite a large mushroom. O.o

I hope that brought some sunshine into your day! 😀 Which picture was your favorite?

As always, thank you so much for reading, and have a lovely day (or night). ♥

P. S. WordCrafters 2 is underway once again! Bella, (from Many Marigolds) it’s your turn to write a chapter! 😀

  1. I am heart happy too! I love your farm! Wow I can imagine myself running through there feeling free as ever. Yes it does look like a little city! Isn’t it lovely when you find these treasures. I’m a little sick right now but I can’t wait to get go for a walk with my Roxy and explore.

    1. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! I’m soooo glad, Jaclynn! Did the app start working or did you use your computer? Either way, I’m so glad you can see the pictures!

      1. I’m still using the app but apparently it wanted to be nice to me tonight, unlike lately…. -_- XD
I am too!! I think I may have missed the last photo of a big mushroom, but at least I saw a lot of them! 😀
        You’re very welcome! 🙂

  3. I love your photography, so profeshional!! My favorite were the ones of Megan’s eye! The one of the stump did look kinda like a city sky-line, LOL! 😀

  4. These pictures are all so pretty! I want to start editing my pictures, but I have no idea where to start! ~Julia ❤

    1. Thanks so much, Julia! Ooh yes, it’s really fun to edit pictures! I have a suggestion: try going to PicMonkey.com and editing your pictures on there. It’s very easy and fun to use!

  5. These are all beautiful pictures and wow your sister’s eye is gorgeous. I remember I had a friend whose eye was yellowish-brown like an off-gold. It had these little red dots inside and it looked amazing like your sister’s eye.

  6. Oh my word, these are stunning photos, Allison! *heart eyes* They’re absolutely beautiful! Do you think that you could post a photo editing tutorial? I’m not really sure how to edit photos well enough and I’d love to see how you do it. 🙂
    ~Grace ❤
P.S. Your letters are being mailed today! I am SO sorry that it took me so long! I included some (very late Christmas) gifts for you and Megan, as well as a note from a special someone. 😉 (Oh, and tell Megan that she is welcome to decorate her present in any way she wishes. I wasn't sure whether to decorate it or not so I'm leaving it up to her. 😀 )

    1. Wow, thank you SOOO much, and I would love to do a photo editing tutorial! That sounds like tons of fun!
      P. S. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY (etc.). XD I am soooo excited and you made me very curious with your mysterious hints. XD I CAN’T WAIT! 😀

  7. SUPER pretty Allison!!!

I have a little question if you don’t mind. I noticed how your header image is clickable to take you right back to your home page. I really like that and I have been trying really hard to figure this out, but have gotten into super complicated forms and stuff that I really don’t understand. Do you have any simple way to do this?

    Thanks for the help!!

    1. Thank you so much!
Oh, sure thing! Hmm, I don’t know for sure, but I think it might have to do with what theme you have, simply because I’ve never actually tried to make that happen – it always happened by itself with the themes I used. I hope that helps!

  8. Why, just look at those fantabulous photos!! Wow, Allison, that’s amazing. ❤ I loveLOVElove the one of the stump – it looks EXACTLY like a city skyline! Megan’s eyes are so pretty and your photo is lovely!
