I can’t wait to tell you that story and show you some of my favorite pictures. Continue reading

Hidden Pictures #1

Thank you, Clara, for suggesting this post idea! 😀 I’m really excited to show you this, guys! It’s similar to my mystery pictures posts, but more like “I Spy.” I’m going to list the hidden items for you to find, then give you several pictures with those items hidden somewhere inside. I also included a few extra pictures that don’t have any of the hidden items to make it a bit more tricky. 😀

These are six things to find in the pictures below.

  • a butterfly
  • a mushroom
  • a gnat
  • a grasshopper
  • a pinecone
  • an ant

By the way, this is not the mushroom you have to find. I wouldn’t go THAT easy on you. XD

Since I haven’t done this before, would you guys mind telling me your opinions on it? Was this too easy? Too hard? Just right? Do you like this kind of posts or not?

I hope you had fun! Oh, and if you need a hint, I’d be glad to help you out in the comments. 🙂

P. S. Autumn is in full swing here, guys! A few of our trees are practically burning up with fall colors. Ahh, so pretty. 🙂

Strawflower and Thyme

Megan, my sister had a gorgeous strawflower blooming in her garden, so of course I had to take pictures of it.  (See her beautiful pictures, and Willow-the-photo-bomber here.)  I also have flowering thyme in my garden that I took pictures of with an interesting bug on it.-Allison(Megan's B-day Party) 037

One more thing – can any of you spot the hidden animal in one of these pictures?  (Hint: It’s not the spotted orange bug in the last picture, actually, it’s not in the last picture at all.)  If want to inspect a picture more closely, just click on a picture to make it bigger.  It might take a bit for the picture to load completely.

Hidden Pictures

We have a lot of unpainted wood in our house, and sometimes the grain of the wood makes a pattern or a picture.  I took photos of some of the best “hidden pictures” for you to see.  The first one is one we’ve known about for a while.

Can you find a happy piggy in this wood?2014-6-24-Allison 008

The next one can look like two things: an owl, or a cross-eyed pelican.  See if you can find both.

I saved the best for last.  This one has lots of detail.  Can you find a bird that looks kind of like a female peacock in this picture?  Once you see it, it’s hard to look the picture and not see it.

Did you find them all?  If you haven’t there are answers below.

And last but not least, the peacock: (The head’s at the top)

See if you can find hidden pictures in your house.
